Halo: Reach Wraith Tips

How to use a wraith to it's full potential
So you have Halo: Reach and want to know how to use a wraith- the god of most vehicles- efficiently, well you have came to the right place! Here you should learn a few tips to actually use the wraith well- and how to survive in it.
1. First of all, you need to know when and where to shoot. If you are within easy range of an enemy, shoot 'em. As long as you can kill an enemy without them hijacking you, then you should be fine to shoot. Some people may find this tricky when faced with another vehicle, especially warthogs. If this is the case- aim in front of them. Remember, the blast radius of the wraith's plasma mortar is sick, so expect to atleast damage a vehicle close to the blast. If you notice a jet-packing enemy, either shoot them down, or splatter them as they fall. if you just boost out the way there is a possibility of crashing, or letting an enemy catch up to you to blow you up...
2. Secondly, if you see a stray teammate, ask them to mount the turret on the wraith. It may seem inappropriate, but a a plasma cannon isn't the worst weapon out there, especially against a jet-packing enemy. If you haven't got the best accuracy, then you will benefit from having a l'il extra firepower. When faced with another wraith, the turret is quite beneficial as there will be a little more firepower coming from your vehicle- and so more damage.
3. Don't get put under pressure, as this may make you waste your opportunity to get that positive k/d ratio you kinda want- especially on a slayer match. Even a DMR (designated marksman rifle) can easily pressurise you- mainly when you don't know where you're being shot from. If this the problem, try and stay on your side of the map. On such maps like hemorrhage, hiding behind your base is quite ideal if you are being shot from. Not only will it provide a little bit of cover- but will also provide a place to evacuate out of your hanging-on-to-life wraith. If you are confronted with an enemy warthog, aim to demolish them as quick as possible. Warthogs destroy wraiths! Take hemorrhage for example, a warthog is bothering a wraith, so the wraith turns around to find cover. WRONG. A wraiths main weak spot is the back part of the wraith. Shooting an exposed wraith will destroy the wraith alot quicker than shooting the front.
4. "Splatter spree", "Sunday driver!". These are medals we all like to get, but getting too carried away with splattering can cost you your wraith. Check your surroundings and check for any enemy craft, or an idle enemy. If you can see you have a clear splatter- and your not going to crash- then go ahead. If you see that there is a cliff or an obstacle, shoot if possible. If not back up as long as there is nothing behind you. Watch out for enemies using theability armour lock ability, as if will either EMP, or destroy you. If you suspect an enemy of having this, shoot them. a mongoose or ghost can easily be destroyed by boosting into them as long as your not badly damaged. Use this if there is a pesky small vehicle murdering your allies.
Stick to these tips while you play Halo: Reach and you will dominate the battlefield with one of the most powerful vehicles in the game!
